Immediate Care (Urgent Care)

Immediate Care

There are things in life that happen very fast. When that happens, you will always have one of our immediate care centers close by. At any of our locations, your child will receive the personal and expert care for which our hospital is renowned.
Contact your doctor first

Your first choice should always be the primary care provider who knows your child best. But that is not always possible. For this reason, our immediate care centers are mainly open at night and on weekends.
How are we different

Our immediate care providers are trained in pediatrics and can treat a long list of muscle injuries, pain, fractures, burns, and bites or stings (the full list is on the other side). The same care from the same doctors and nurses who treat children in our main emergency room.
Our immediate care centers offer:

Walk-in service, no need to call ahead
Five comfortable locations
Lower costs with lower copays than emergency room visits
Follow up with your child’s primary care provider after your visit ## 24-hour emergency services If the problem is serious or life-threatening, go to the Emergency Room immediately. We have two rooms open 24/7: Burnet Campus and Liberty Campus.

Do you need attention ASAP?

When circumstances require us to make a quick decision, immediate care may help more than you think. Sometimes it is the best place you can go. Sometimes it is not.

Urgent Care

Urgent care offers an emergency room alternative to patients with medical needs that are non-life-threatening. Our centers are staffed with physicians, nurse practitioners and other professional ancillary service technicians who are available to treat both acute and chronic illnesses as well as injuries on a walk-in basis. Our patients benefit from radiology and laboratory services being available under one roof.
